Cole Geissler is now the orchid collection horticulturist at the Smithsonian Gardens in Washington, D.C. In this role, he will maintain the orchid collection and contribute to the Smithsonian’s orchid conservation work. Previously, Cole was the tropical greenhouse horticulturist at the the UConn Botanical Conservatory.
