Kennedy Kanagawa ’08, who was a theatre major, is a performer who found a place to belong and lifelong friends at Muhlenberg. His experience also built skills that allowed him to work as a professional performer, including on Broadway as the puppeteer behind Milky White in “Into the Woods” during its 2022-2023 run.
“Because of my professors at Muhlenberg, I learned to approach theatre academically, which is so important in your career and in navigating the industry,” says Kanagawa, who is currently playing Ogie in a production of “Waitress” from Houston’s Theatre Under The Stars and The 5th Avenue Theatre.
Zachary Mannheimer ’99, a theatre and philosophy double major, is founder and board chair of Alquist 3D, a company that 3D prints commercial and residential buildings.
