Carl Buchholz III retired in June from Rawle & Henderson LLP after a 55-year legal career. He began as a summer law clerk, and after graduating from Villanova Law School in 1970, joined Rawle & Henderson LLP as an associate. Carl’s practice primarily focused on maritime law; he was appointed as chair of the maritime practice group in 1982, a position that he held until his retirement. Carl has been a member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States since 1970. He achieved the distinction level of Proctor in Admiralty, the highest membership category in that organization.
