Help remove barriers to learning.
When did you know you wanted to be a learning support coordinator?
At Muhlenberg, I was a history major in the education program, intending to be a social studies teacher. My professor placed me with students who had significant developmental disabilities. I fell in love. In the years since, I’ve found that special education is my calling, not social studies.

My secret wish would’ve been to be a music promoter.
What three songs best describe you?
“He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother” by The Hollies
“Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey
“Joy to the World” by Three Dog Night
What is your favorite place?
Silver Bay, New York, in the Adirondack Mountains.
What are you secretly good at?
Hearing a song and telling you the name and/or who sang it within one bar (’70s, ’80s and ’90s music, mostly). People like to have me at music quizzes.
What historical figure do you most admire?
Anne Sullivan, Helen Keller’s teacher. She is someone I can look to for inspiration and, in many aspects, relate to.
What is your most treasured possession?
A seat from Shea Stadium signed by Darryl Strawberry and Dwight Gooden
