Mel Kreines graduated in 1959 with a B.A. and later went on to receive his J.D. from Fordham University. He was a successful owner of his own law firm until his recent passing this past March and is survived by his son, Ross Kreines, daughter and fellow alum, Beth Kreines ’91, and his long-time partner, Perry Barron.
