Robert Shaw, Lori Apgar Shaw

A couple poses inside a cave

Robert Shaw and his wife, Lori Apgar Shaw, bought a pickup truck and travel trailer upon retirement. They then sold their home in Florida so they might investigate places for a new home. Thus far they have kayaked a spring-fed river in Florida, hiked woodland trails in Kentucky and walked through the desert in Arizona. They have enjoyed walleye from Lake Superior, fresh corn in Indiana, wine in Missouri and locally grown pecans in New Mexico. They have talked with people of Dakota Sioux, Navajo and Apache origin. They have viewed paintings by Claude Monet, contemplated contemporary sculpture gardens and sampled local craft shows. They have visited friends and family and made new acquaintances. They are now 30 months into a six-month trip and continue to find interesting and diverse communities. Robert writes about their journey at RobertsMusings.com.
