Karen Cooney Nielsen is married, has three college-aged sons and has been living in New York City since graduation. She has three master’s degrees in Spanish, communications and education. Her work life is varied, with stints in telecom research, Wall Street, photography, interior and graphic design, artificial intelligence, education and entrepreneurship.
