The Rev. James Smith II has retired after 42 years of pastoral ministry due to his myasthenia gravis. James moved to Illinois in 2010 to be near his youngest daughter and her family. He worked for Aflac until having a heart attack. God is good, and James enjoys spending time in His Word and in prayer.
