KeriLyn Burrows

A woman feeds a carrot to a donkey

KeriLyn Burrows joined a group of 11 from Hawk Mountain for nine days of serious (bird, eat, sleep) birding in Belize. The group tallied 241 species, with KeriLyn’s top three being the king vulture, magnificent frigatebird and keel-billed toucan. A non-avian highlight was a tour of the Belize Zoo with its director, Celso Poot, and the opportunity to feed a tapir.
